Here I have found some front cover pages from lots of different types of magazines. Although i am focusing on music magazine i have got a range of different magazines so that I can understand the different styles and how they get this across to the reader.
This is the front cover for 'cosmo girl' magazine. As you can see Taylor Swift is on the front and I believe that she is showing the reader her whole image of being a sweet and innocent person and I think that she is getting this across with her making a heart shape. Also, she is always singing about love this maybe why the writing is in red because we relate Taylor Swift with love therefore this fits her whole image.The audience that this magazine is aimed to is 
I like this cover because all the colour themes work well together and this is the sort of theme i would like to use because my target audience is girls around 14 years old and i believe that they would be attracted by these colours.
This is the front cover of Billboard magazine which is a leading music magazine in America. As you can see Miley Cyrus is on the front cover. Her theme is rock chick and I believe that they get this across on the front cover because they have used dark colours which we relate with rock, also she is wearing leather which is also staying with the rock theme.
This is the front cover of 'sugar' magazine, although it is not a music magazine I like the how it s set out and the overall front cover. I would like my magazine to be similar to this because the audience know that it is a magazine for girls aged 10 - 16 however I would mine to be aged a bit of a older age group. This magazine is a hybrid of pop and fashion. I believe that they do work well together because the sort of people that buy this magazine will be into the lastest pop band/act therefore you would think that they are into the lastest fashion aswell because they normally like to keep with the trend and do not want to feel out of place.
