Contents Pages- research

I am going to research the different contents pages and see the different styles. I am doing this then i can get a good idea of how I would like my contents page to look like. I am going to look at the different magazines and see the different connoations that they use.

Even though this contents page is not the same genre as the magazine that I am going to produce I like the style of it because it is very simple but is also eye catching. The colour theme of this magazine relate to the genre of the magazine because it is the contents page of the magazine for the rockband 'greenday' therefore they will wear red and black because we relate this to rock.

This is the contents page for 'Q magazine' This is also not the same genre as what my magazine is going to be like but i like the layout and I would like my magazine to look something like this.

This is the contents page for the ' club NME magazine' I like the colour themes of this magazine because it is pink and will attract girls because it will catch there eye. In my magazine I am going to use simular colours because my magazine is aimed at girls aged 16- 25 years old, so these sort of colours will be good for my magazine.
